the truth of it all;
is so cold and hard
it's hard to accept
sets me thinking deeply
really, is the battle already lost before we even started?
with the puny motivation we get
and the not-so-optimistic mindsets
its hard to get back
its tiring to keep pulling pp back
its draining
saddening to see the drifting lost souls
but, no
we're gonna rise up to it
